An important insight is that difficult people do not exist, only behavior that you dislike or find annoying. Your emotions (including feeling annoyed at another person’s behavior) are a product of your history. What that other person does (and what you dislike) comes from theirs. And that is exactly your job: to see beyond your likes and dislikes and develop the ability to deal with the uniqueness of each team member. As an excellent leader, you will have skills to deal with all team members, not just those you find agreeable!.
